Anthony S. Tamburo Sr., 78, of Butler, formerly of Franklin Park, died Friday.

He was a Korean War veteran.

He was the husband of the late Patricia L. (Shore) Tamburo; and beloved father of Pamela Abner, Patricia Morrow, Anthony Tamburo Jr., Michael Tamburo and Ruth Ann Rally. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Geraldine Mazziotta and the late Salvador Tamburo.

<B>TAMBURO</B> — Friends of Anthony S. Tamburo Sr., who died Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME</B>, 216 44th St., Lawrenceville. The funeral service will be at 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
