Melvin P. "Bud" Bartley, 86, of Gibsonia died Monday.

He was the beloved husband of Katherine (Shelleby) Bartley; father of Pamela Lorence and her husband, Stanley, and the late Gail Palamone Johnson; brother of the late Jack Bartley and Leora Randall; and grandfather of Jake Lorence, Michael Palamone and Beth Joseph. He also is survived by six great-grandchildren.
