Cypher

Frieda M. Cypher, 87, formerly of Cabot, died Saturday at Autumn Grove Care Center in Harrisville.

Born Sept. 20, 1921, in Jefferson Township, she was the daughter of Gilbert and Wilhelmine Flemming Doerr.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot, the American Legion Post 683 Auxiliary and the Saxonburg Golden Agers.

She enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by her husband, Elery C. Cypher, whom she married on Sept. 25, 1940; a son, Larry E. (Nancy) Cypher of Lithia Springs, Ga.; a daughter, Darlene (George) Keck of Valencia; a sister, Ruth E. Kriley of Cabot, Ark.; four sisters-in-law, Josephine Doerr, Ethel Hint, Leonice Cypher and Ruth Cypher; a brother-in-law, Robert McWilliams; seven grandchildren, Michele Phillips, Brian Cypher, Gregory Cypher and Duane, Nadine, Marlin and Gordon Keck; 10 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ronald; two brothers; and two sisters.

<B>CYPHER</B> — Friends of Frieda M. Cypher, who died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot with the Rev.
