2:25 p.m. Monday — An unidentified black truck struck a guardrail on Route 8 near Pepperland Boulevard. The unknown driver did not stop after the crash. Police said the truck is a newer, Chevrolet/GM model.2:29 a.m. Sunday — Marina Sun Zellonis, 37, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence after her car got stuck in the snow at Main and West Cunningham streets.

7:08 p.m. Sunday — Ira B. Gray Jr., 20, of Pittsburgh was injured when he accidentally was pinned between his car and another car on Route 108 west of Slippery Rock.Police said Gray got into the predicament after his 2000 Buick Regal ran out of gas. The vehicle stopped in the eastbound lane near Arrowhead Drive. Another car traveling east stopped behind the Buick.Gray apparently was between the two cars, trying to stop his Buick from sliding backward, when he got pinned. Slippery Rock EMS was called and took Gray to Grove City Medical Center with moderate injuries.Christopher M. Scanlon, 22, of Bethel Park, Allegheny County, the other driver, suffered a minor injury. Police said Gary was cited for driving a vehicle without valid inspection.1:59 p.m. Sunday — Asport utility vehicle driven by Nancy M. Davis, 59, of Zelienople slid on a patch of snow and slush and struck a guardrail on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township.1:40 p.m. Sunday — Ac ar driven by Hannah R. Labate, 18, of Grove City struck a tractor truck pared on the side of Route 173 near Weaver Lane in Slippery Rock Township. Police said Labate was cited for a lane violation.Sunday — Natalie Sell, 23, of Beaver reported that someone stole her Coach clutch purse that was on a table at the Ginger Hill Tavern in Slippery Rock. The theft occurred between 11 p.m. Saturday and 1 a.m. Sunday.Saturday — Police charged Scott Reid Pfeifer, 36, of Butler with driving under the influence stemming from a traffic stop at 2:10 a.m. Jan. 7 on Route 8 in Penn Township.10:30 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Monica Drobezko, 18, of Slippery Rock struck an embankment and rolled over on Route 528 in Brady Township. Police said Drobezko was cited for driving too fast for conditions.10:41 p.m. Jan. 13 — A pickup truck driven by Hugh A. Shearer, 70, of Cabot struck a tree along North Road in Franklin Township. Police said Shearer was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
