10:34 a.m. Tuesday — Lamar Williams, 19, of Slippery Rock was charged with retail theft after he allegedly attempted to leave Wal-Mart without paying for a 26-inch flat-screen TV.

6:35 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Kellie G. Nogan, 17, of Butler crashed into a utility pole along Keck Road in Jefferson Township.4 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Leo R. Schilosser, 75, of Butler and a pickup truck driven by Leonard Paul Benson, 59, of Worthington collided at the intersection of Chicora and Medical Center roads in Donegal Township. No one was injured. Schilosser was cited for failure to obey stop signs.3:25 p.m. Friday — A car driven by April Winters, 49, a pickup truck driven by Christopher Pierce, 17, and a pickup truck driven by John Dunn, 63, collided at the entrance of Clearview Mall on Route 8 in Center Township. No addresses of the drivers were provided. An unidentified 12-year-old male passenger in Winters' car was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment.10:06 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Theresa Faith, 48, of Boyers and a car driven by Harold Graham, 76, of Evans City collided on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. No one was injured.4:55 a.m. Friday — Katherine M. Kelly, 22, of Evans City was charged with driving under the influence after she attempted a U-turn on Route 68 in Connoquenessing Township, went off the road and became stuck in the snow.9:35 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Jessica S. Goswick, 21, of New Castle crashed into the guide rails along Route 108 near Barron Road in Worth Township.7:25 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by John S. Horvath, 78, of Cabot, an SUV driven by John H. Sofietti, 53, of Pittsburgh and a pickup truck driven by Steven J. Guyon, 40, of Greensburg collided on North Pike Road in Winfield Township. Horvath was cited for failure to obey roads laned for travel.

3 a.m. Thursday — Someone tried to break in to the Kwik Fill gas station along Route 58 in Grove City. The suspect was dropped off at the nearby 84 Lumber and, after an unsuccessful attempt to break the front door glass on the station, walked back toward 84 Lumber, was picked up by a vehicle and fled. Any one with information should call police at 724-662-6169.8:10 a.m. Jan. 11 — A white male driving a black Cutlass Supreme entered a vehicle belonging to John L. Eppinger of Volant, stealing several items from inside, while the car was parked at King's Restaurant along Route 208 in Grove City between 7:50 and 8:10 a.m.
