5:05 p.m. Sunday — Cars driven by Jennifer Ashbaugh, 26, and Steven Iman, 28, both of Butler, collided at Main and Cunningham streets. Police said Ashbaugh was cited for a red light violation.12:42 a.m. Saturday — Shawn Bellis, 33, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at East Jefferson and Monroe streets. Police said Bellis also was cited for driving too fast for conditions and a lane violation.6:58 p.m. Friday — Police used a Taser on Eric Michael O'Donnell, 23, after he allegedly resisted arrest at his Federal Street home.O'Donnell's parole officer and police were called to the home for a report that the defendant had possibly overdosed on prescription medication. Police allegedly found a used syringe, empty stamp bags of suspected heroin and a crack pipe in the suspect's bedroom.When officers tried to arrest O'Donnell for a parole violation, a police report said, he struggled with and cursed at the officers. An officer at one point used his Taser to dry stun the man in the chest; still he resisted, police said.The defendant eventually stopped struggling and was taken to the Butler County Prison for the parole violation. He also is charged with resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia.6:20 p.m. Friday — Cars driven by Jennifer Hilliard, 22, and Melanie A. Kaufman collided at Hansen Avenue and Renaissance Drive.

3:06 p.m. Saturday — Larry J. Gould, 58, of Butler is accused of making threatening gestures at another driver during a suspected case of road rage at New Castle and Duffy roads. Police said Gould also got out of his car and allegedly tried to start a fight in the street. He is charged with disorderly conduct.

Tuesday — A Craftsman 10-gallon air compressor, Sears 4-ton floor jack and a Hewlett-Packard printer were stolen from a storage unit at Butler Mini Storage on Route 68 in Connoquenessing Township. Dennis Burns III of Eighty-Four, Washington County, owns the property that was taken Sunday or Monday.4:57 p.m. Sunday — Acar driven by Margaret J. Sutton, 78, of Tarentum, Allegheny County, crashed and flipped onto its roof after sliding off ice-covered Route 356 at Willow Drive in Summit Township.1 p.m. Wednesday — A Slippery Rock Middle School student is accused of making threatening comments to a teacher at the school in Slippery Rock Township. Police did not identify the student, who faces a charge of terroristic threats.

2:30 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Christopher R. Grunthaner, 20, of St. Marys, Elk County, struck a concrete barrier on Interstate 80 in Richland Township, Clarion County. The car crossed both lanes and hit a guardrail, which caused it to spin before coming to rest on the side of the road.Police said Grunthaner was cited for driving too fast for conditions.

2:30 p.m. Saturday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Benjamin A. Spell, 25, of Ford City struck a tree along Route 28 in Buffalo Township. Police said Spell was cited for driving too fast for conditions.

1 p.m. Sunday — Acar driven by Briana Newstrom, 19, of Charleroi, Washington County, crashed into an embankment and rolled over, landing on it wheels on Interstate 79 in Springfield Township. Police said Newstrom was cited for careless driving.4:28 a.m. Sunday — Robert Charles Hollabaugh, 36, of Harrisville was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his vehicle got stuck in a snowbank on Route 173 near Kilgore Road in Worth Township, Mercer County. Police said Hollabaugh also was cited for driving on the wrong side of the road and careless driving.

2:27 a.m. Monday — Ashley Marie Hysell, 22, of Ellwood City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 65 in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.2:40 p.m. Dec. 30 — Apickup truck driven by Brian T. Mateja, 29, of New Castle and a minivan driven by Lisa R. Sutch, 40, of Portersville collided on Route 19 in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.Mateja's pickup, following the collision, went into oncoming traffic and a utility trailer it was hauling slid across the road and upended onto its back wheels. Police said Mateja was cited for illegally passing a vehicle on the right.
