Veronica Cherry

Veronica Cherry of Butler celebrated her 90th birthday with an open house Jan. 10 at the Lowrie House.

The former Veronica Mrocek was born Jan. 10, 1919, in Brownsville. She married Peter Cherry on July 6, 1938. He is deceased.

She has three children, Peter Cherry of Butler, Donna Wymer of Mount Chestnut and Kenneth Cherry of Butler. She also has five grandchildren.

Mrs. Cherry retired from working in the cafeteria for the Butler School District. She belongs to the 55 and Alive Club.

She is a member of the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.
