Alta Darlene Hadley, 84, of Albuquerque, N.M., formerly of Butler, died Tuesday.

She was born in Bradys Bend, Armstrong County, on June 27, 1924, a daughter of Elliott and Anna M. Christy Donaldson.

She is survived by two daughters, Karen Bowen of Rio Rancho, N.M., and Shawnie MacElroy of Albuquerque; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Dick Donaldson of Kenosha, Wis.; and three sisters, Mrs. Merle (Jane) Hutchison of Edinboro, and Mrs. Richard (Audrey) Fleeger and Shirley Hammond, both of Butler.

Mrs. Hadley was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Hadley, who died in 1996; a son, Joel D. Rice; and three brothers, Jay, LeRoy and Ward Donaldson.
