Lawrence Richard "Larry" Streitman, 53, of Tahoe Drive in Pittsburgh died Saturday as the result of injuries in an automobile accident on Route 38.

Born Nov. 2, 1955, in Butler, he was a son of Francis L. and Wanda Violet Czzowitz Streitman.

Larry was a graduate of Butler High School and Penn State University, having earned his bachelor's degree in chemistry.

He had worked for Westinghouse Air Brake for several years and formerly worked for the B.F. Goodrich Rubber Co.

Surviving are his parents, Francis and Wanda Streitman of Cabot; two brothers and their wives, Francis and Denise Streitman of Olathe, Kan., and Robert and Mary Streitman of Butler; a sister, Mrs. Clarence (Lynn) Hazlet of West Sunbury; and an uncle, Regis (Sue) Streitman of Butler. Six nieces, two nephews, three grandnieces and two grandnephews also survive him.

<B>STREITMAN </B>—<B> </B>There will be no visitation. Private funeral services for Lawrence Richard "Larry" Streitman, who died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, will be held for his family.
