William C. 'Bill' Gould

William C. "Bill" Gould, 66, of Bedford died Oct. 16 at UPMC Shadyside.

Born Oct. 12, 1942, in Butler, he was the son of Mary E. Stephenson Gould and the late William C. Gould.

Mr. Gould worked for Sprint/ Embarq in Butler, Charlottesville, Va., and in Bedford, retiring in June 1995.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Bedford.

He served in the Air Force and was stationed in Colorado.

Mr. Gould enjoyed archery competitions and hunting and was a member of the International Bowhunters Organization, CSS-Staff Shooter, the Horton Staff Shooters, the Zenith Releases Staff Shooters and the Tru Ball Staff Shooters and was employed part time at Freedom Archery.

Mr. Gould is survived by his wife, Vicky A. Gould of Bedford, whom he married Aug. 22, 1980; two daughters and their husbands, Sharon and Robert Einstein of East Butler and Susan and Keith Nagle of Butler; one son, William Brian Gould of Clinton, Mich.; six grandchildren; two stepsons and their wives, Joseph J. and Lori Huff of Slippery Rock and Kenneth L. and Michelle Huff of Butler; three step-grandchildren; his sister Mrs. William (Shirley) Piper of Indian Harbour Beach, Fla.; his brother, John A. Gould of Nottingham, Pa.; his aunt, Marilyn Stephenson of Butler; one niece; and four nephews.
