Banister, 22, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence and driving on wrong side of the road following a traffic stop along McKean Street.11:50 p.m. Thursday — Douglas W. Tomasello, 39, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence and turns requiring signals following a traffic stop along Monroe Street.

1:01 a.m. Thursday — Kevin Fend, 39, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence and endangering the welfare of a child following a vehicle accident at the intersection of Evans City and Eberhart roads. Fend, his 10-year-old passenger and the other driver, Michael Christley of Renfrew, were not injured.11:21 p.m. Wednesday — A pickup truck driven by John V. Saul Jr., 18, of Butler crashed into a tree along South Benbrook Road in Center Township. Saul was not injured.Wednesday — Someone broke into a storage locker at Butler Mini Storage on Route 68 in Connoquenessing Township, stealing these items belonging to Jeffrey R. Black of Renfrew between Nov. 24 and Wednesday: A Hoyt bow in Advantage camouflage, Big Bertha golf clubs in a black bag, women's Titleist golf clubs in a navy blue bag, two Goldstar window air conditioners and a black briefcase with military documents inside.
