E. Keith Brown, 78, of West Sunbury died at 10:10 p.m. Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born Nov. 1, 1930, in Clay Township and was the son of the late Harvey Brown and Ella Barnhart Brown. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

He had been employed at Western Auto and retired from the maintenance department at International Staple. He also was a lifetime farmer.

Mr. Brown was a member of the North Washington Volunteer Fire Department, the East Butler Fireman's Club, the Tri-State Country Music Association and the New Castle Country Music Association.

He is survived by one son, Randy K. Brown of West Sunbury; one grandson, Randy K. Brown Jr. of West Sunbury; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcella Weil Brown, who died Sept. 5, 1984; three sisters; and two brothers.

<B>BROWN</B> — Friends of E. Keith Brown, who died Saturday, Dec. 6, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert V. Mathias of the North Washington Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the family.
