Raymond E. Clever
Raymond E. Clever Sr., 75, of Kingman, Ariz., died Wednesday at his home.
Born April 19, 1933, in Dayton, he lived in Butler, moved to Lake Havasu City 21 years ago, and then to Kingman six years ago.
Raymond served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He was a truck driver and was last employed by MHF Trucking, which allowed him to spend time in Butler with his family and friends.
Everyone looked forward to "Uncle Ray" coming to town. His visits will be missed.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Pauline Clever; two daughters, Lori Moore of Bakersfield, Calif., and Jenifer Irving of Mesa, Ariz.; and two sons, Raymond Clever Jr., of Golden Valley, Ariz., and Cory Clever Sr. of Lake Havasu City. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; four sisters, Betty Griffith of Dayton, Lois Ferkan of Brookfield, Ohio, Doris Brown of Hamilton, Ohio, and Ann Lucas of Allentown; and many family members and friends in the Butler area.
Dad never knew any strangers; he loved everyone and was loved by everyone. Everybody loved Raymond.
