Shirley and Leroy Smith

Leroy and Shirley Smith of Grove City celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at the Short Stop Restaurant in New Wilmington.

Smith married the former Shirley Peterson on Dec. 10, 1958, at the Presbyterian Church in Utica.

They have two children, Kim Albert of Harrisville and Linda Hogue of Jackson Center.

They also have two grandchildren.

Smith is retired from Interstate Chemical in Hermitage and currently works for Don Nelson's Trucking in Harrisville.

Mrs. Smith is a homemaker.

The Smiths attend North Liberty Presbyterian Church.
