Jean and Donald Ripper

Donald and Jean Ripper of Zelienople; formerly of New Brighton, North Sewickley Township, Beaver Falls and Evans City; celebrated 65 years of marriage Dec. 16 with a reception at Newhaven Court in Zelienople.

Ripper married the former Jean Young on Dec. 16, 1943, at the bride's home in Connoquenessing Township.

They have two children, Cheryl Stroup of Stevensville, Mont., and Gary Ripper of Dallas.

They also have one grandson.

Ripper is retired from J/L-LTV in Aliquippa.

Mrs. Ripper worked in shoe sales for several years and is a homemaker.

The Rippers attended the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in New Brighton.
