4:48 p.m. Sunday — Brandi Foust reported a silver vehicle driven by an unknown male struck her pickup truck while it was parked in the YMCA parking lot.Sunday — An unknown vehicle struck a car owned by Matthew Browne of Butler while it was parked in the 400 block of Brown Avenue. White paint was transferred to the front bumper of Browne's car.8:44 p.m. Saturday — Charles Roy Gage, 28, of Butler was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Butler Township police after city police responded to a call reporting Gage was at a Chestnut Street address. He was turned over to township police.7 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Thomas Hosack, 24, of Butler and a car driven by Theodore Wentworth III, 28, of Butler collided at the intersection of West New Castle Street and Hansen Avenue. Wentworth's passenger, Elizabeth Wentworth, 28, also of Butler, was taken by Butler Ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries after complaining of neck and back pain. No other occupants of either vehicle were injured. Hosack received several citations, including improper turning and having no insurance.4:03 p.m. Saturday — Valle Double of Butler reported her car was egged sometime in the past two weeks while it was parked outside her residence at 442 N. Bluff St. She estimated the damage to the vehicle's paint at $500.3:43 p.m. Saturday — John Kelly, 27, of Butler was charged with simple assault after police responded to a domestic call at a South Monroe Street address. Kelly's girlfriend, Maria Virginia Cosme, 24, told police Kelly hit her in the head, including her face, several times and pushed her during an argument. When Cosme attempted to call 911, Kelly allegedly bit her hand and took the phone from her. She then left the residence with her children, who were not reportedly involved in the altercation. After Kelly left the apartment, Cosme called police. Cosme had visible injuries and complained about pain. Kelly was found at a Main Street restaurant. After being arraigned before District Judge Pete Shaffer, Kelly posted $2,500 bond.11:37 a.m. Saturday — John Russell Rob, 47, of Butler was charged with simple assault and harassment after allegedly attacking Jeffrey Michael Murray, 45, of Butler over an incident involving Murray and Rob's niece, Tiffany McClure of Butler. Rob allegedly head-butted Murray, temporarily knocking him unconscious. When police responded to call about a fight, they found Murray bruised and swollen with a bloody nose and a cut to the head. A witness allegedly corroborated Murray's account. Rob claimed Murray attacked him first, ripping his shirt, but police reported Rob's shirt had no visible tears.11 p.m. Friday — Adrian Matthew McWilliams, 31, of Pittsburgh was arrested on an outstanding warrant from the Butler County Sheriff's office after police responded to a disorderly conduct call at the Brick House on North Main Street. Business owner Larry Goettler reported McWilliams allegedly caused problems inside and outside the Brick House. When McWilliams saw a responding police cruiser, he fled on foot before being caught, police said. He also was cited for public drunkenness.
12:52 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Christina Wick, 19, of Karns City lost control on a curve on Spruce Road in Fairview Township, sliding sideways about 120 feet before hitting a tree. No injuries were reported. Wick was cited for not driving at a safe speed.9:18 p.m. Sunday — A pickup truck driven by Brandon Shirley, 27, of Chicora swerved to miss a deer on Pine Tract Road in Center Township, leaving the road.12:50 a.m. Saturday — Thomas Coleman, 39, of Wexford was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township.
8:04 a.m. Wednesday — An SUV driven by Kent Theodore, 50, of Fort Meyers, Fla., hit a tree off Sandy Lake-Grove City Road in Sandy Lake Township. Kent was not injured, but his passenger, Kathleen Custead, 51, of Cochranton in Crawford County received minor injuries. Both occupants were wearing seat belts.
7:12 p.m. Saturday — Caroline Angela Dummar, 42, of Grove City was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 108 in Scott Township.
