Rhoda Eileen Murtland, 77, of Butler died Nov. 17 at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born July 10, 1931, in Butler County, a daughter of the late William and Selma Harper Murtland.

Rhoda worked as a secretary for the City of Butler Treasurer's office for years.

She was a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church in Butler.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
