7:03 p.m. Dec. 12 — Michael Keith Pisarcik, 46, of Grove City was charged with retail theft after allegedly stealing nearly $440 worth of groceries and other items from the Wal-Mart in Butler Commons.

7:54 a.m. Monday — A Jeep driven by Melissa M. Long, 29, of Ford City crashed into a concrete barrier on Route 422 near East Butler Road in Summit Township. Long suffered a minor injury and was cited for driving too fast for conditions.

2 p.m. Sunday — A pickup truck driven by Robert Warner, 46, of Sarver hit an embankment off Old Route 28 in North Buffalo Township. The truck spun, flipped on its roof and flipped upright again. Warner, who was wearing a seat belt, had minor injuries. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.3:15 a.m. Sunday — A pickup truck driven by Heidi Brooke Weiss, 49, of Freeport struck a concrete bridge barrier on an icy Route 28 in Harrison Township, Allegheny County. She was not injured, but was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.1:02 a.m. Sunday — Deanna Jo Bennis, 33, of Leechburg was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Route 356 in Freeport.11:50 p.m. Friday — Lee Edward Hamilton, 28, of East Brady was charged with driving under the influence after her vehicle was stopped at a DUI checkpoint on Route 268 in East Franklin Township. Police ran the checkpoint Friday and Saturday, stopping 76 motorists and making two DUI arrests, one DUI suspension arrest, three underage drinking arrests and issuing various traffic citations.1:07 a.m. Friday — Louette Hanson, 49, of Heilwood, Indiana County, was charged with driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Route 268 in West Franklin.

11 a.m. Sunday — A vehicle driven by Craig J. Chase, 21, of New Wilmington crashed into a tree on Route 258 in Liberty Township. Chase was not injured and was charged with a traffic violation.6:45 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Leslie A. Smith, 20, of Volant crashed and ended on its side against a utility pole on Route 208 near Oak Hill Lane in Springfield Township. Smith suffered a minor injury and was cited for a traffic violation.9:20 a.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Kimberly A. Steele, 23, of Franklin crashed into an embankment along Route 965 near Bradley Road in Worth Township. Steele and passengers Savannah L. Umstead, 21, Jay D. Durbiano, 35, and Emily R. Cooley, 27, all of Franklin, suffered minor injuries. Steele was cited for driving a vehicle at an unsafe speed.
