David W. George
David W. George, 75, of Mercer Road, Butler, died at 3:30 a.m. Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born March 3, 1933, in Worthington, he was the son of the late Waid M. George and the late Phyllis C. Hepler George.
Mr. George worked as a crane operator for Marmon Keystone Corp., retiring in 1998.
He was a Lutheran. He enjoyed playing golf and watching sports.
Mr. George is survived by his son, Timothy, and his wife, Terri George, of Evans City; two brothers and their wives, Paul and Connie George of Bend, Ore., and Waid and Leslie George of Butler; a sister, Kathy George of Cincinnati, Ohio; three granddaughters, three great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. George was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara A. George, who passed away on Feb. 15, 1988, and a brother, Larry D. George.

North St. Services will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. James W. Dollhopf of First English Lutheran Church officiating.
