Frances M. "Fran" Parsons, 57, of Zelienople died Monday at her home.

Born Oct. 12, 1951, in Dublin, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Quinn) McKittrick.

Mrs. Parsons was an avid reader and enjoyed making people laugh.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne K. Parsons, who she married in 1985; two stepdaughters, Bonnie Parsons of Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, and Elizabeth Johnston of Stouffville, Ontario; three sisters, Lily McKittrick, Una Rogan and her husband, Seamus, and Angela Ryan, all of Dublin; and two step-grandchildren, Jessie and Cody Johnston. She also is survived by nephews, grandnephews and a grandniece.
