Michael Q. "Mike" Weckerly, 62, of Hovey Township, Foxburg, passed away suddenly early Saturday morning at his home of natural causes.

Born March 26, 1946, in Perry Township, Clarion County, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Weckerly.

Mike was a graduate of the 1966 class of the Allegheny-Clarion Valley School at Foxburg.

He was a Protestant.

He worked for 15 years at the former Glass Containers Corp. of Parker. He then drove for the Glacial Mineral Corp. He then was employed for 16 years as a carpet installer for the J.M. Beatty Furniture at Eau Claire. At the time of his passing, he was employed by Superior Adsorbents in Cherry Valley, near Eau Claire.

Surviving are his wife, Nancy Hilliard Weckerly, who he married June 7, 1968; three daughters, Mrs. Clyde (Melissa Rena) Greenawalt of Callensburg, Mrs. Sean (Tina Ann) Adams of Parker and Mrs. Curtis (Rebecca Lynn) Neyman of Butler; one son, Robert C. Weckerly of Perryville; six grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. William (Freida) Haugh of Southgate, Mich., and Mrs. Gary (Pauline) Thompson of Parker; one stepsister, Wilma Weckerly of Perryville; one stepbrother, Ora "Bud" McGinnis of Perryville; one aunt, Bernice Terwilliger of Florida; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Esther McGinnis Weckerly; one brother, James "Jim" Weckerly; and one stepbrother, Raymond McGinnis.

<B>WECKERLY</B> — Friends of Michael Q. "Mike" Weckerly, who died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home</B>, Wayne Street, Parker. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Perryville Cemetery, near Parker.Information also is available at www.buzardfuneralhomes.com.
