David E. Harris Sr.
David E. Harris Sr., 54, of Lehigh Acres, Fla., died Nov. 3 at his home of an apparent heart attack. He had been in Florida for the past 17 years.
Born in Grove City, Oct. 19, 1954, he was the son of Thomas K. Harris Sr. and Della M. White Haris.
A 1972 graduate of Slippery Rock High School, he was an elevator installer with the Taylor Elevator Co. in Florida.
He formerly attended the Harrisville United Methodist Church.
He was an avid guitar player and collector and also was an avid fisherman.
Surviving are two sons, David E. Harris Jr. and his wife, Stacey, of Boyers and Christopher J. Harris and his wife, Melissa, of Butler; five grandchildren; his parents of Grove City; three sisters, Judy Rodemoyer and her husband, Mark, of Grove City, Nancy Simpson and her husband, John, of McKean and Cindy Harris of Rupert, W.Va.; and two brothers, Thomas K. Harris Jr. of Mercer and Robert L. Harris and his wife, Amy, of Grove City.
<B>HARRIS </B>— Friends of David E. Harris Sr., who died Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, will be received from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Jamison Funeral Home</B>, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville. A memorial service will follow at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Willard S. Morse, pastor of visitation at Grace United Methodist Church of Grove City, officiating.
