Margaret E. Grossman
Margaret E. Grossman, 79, of Slippery Rock passed away at 10:25 p.m. Tuesday at Grove Manor. She had suffered a stroke while visiting her daughter in Florida this summer.
She was born June 9, 1929, in Kittanning and was the daughter of the late Alvah McCloud and Hattie Holiday McCloud.
She had been employed at the printing department at Slippery Rock University.
She was an avid NASCAR fan and had traveled the NASCAR circuit from 1970 to 1993. Her favorite drivers were Bill Elliott and Kurt Busch.
She is survived by her husband, Richard E. "Sonny" Grossman, who she married Jan. 10, 1960; one daughter, Mrs. Jack (Shirley) Weller of Edgewater, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. James (Shirley) Anderson of West Sunbury; and one brother, Howard McCloud of Pocono.
She was preceded in death by one son and two brothers.
