Patricia M. (McCullock) Larkin, 79, of Valencia, Middlesex Township, died Friday while under the care of the St. Barnabas Nursing Home, Richland Township.

Born Dec. 23, 1928, in Whitefield, N.H., she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Virginia (Smith) McCullock.

Patricia was a graduate of the Girls Latin School in Boston, Mass. In the 1940s, she trained to become a pilot. She worked for New England Mutual until her marriage brought her to Pittsburgh in the 1950s. She was extremely well read and enjoyed a wide variety of activities. Most importantly, she will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

She was the beloved wife for 57 years of Barrymore T. Larkin whom she married on July 21, 1951, and the loving mother of Paula (Tom) Larkin-Hutton of California, Carol Larkin of New Jersey, Janet (Gary) Fleishman of New York, Frank (Katrina) Larkin of Florida, Claudia (Kirk) Dixon of Kentucky and Sheila Larkin of Pittsburgh. She was the loving grandmother of Jacob Smith, Charlotte Smith, Benjamin Dixon, Cara Smith, John Dixon, Rachel Dixon and Barry Larkin. She also is survived by a brother and a sister.
