Lindner 50th anniversary
George and Carol Lindner of Cranberry Township celebrated 50 years of marriage Nov. 15 with a surprise party hosted by their children at the Heritage Creek Clubhouse in Mars. Members of their original wedding party attended.
Lindner married the former Carol Bosancic Nov. 15, 1958, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Mars.
They have two children, Robin Hay of Mars and Earnie Lindner of Cranberry Township.
They also have two grandchildren.
Lindner is retired from BNZ, formerly John Mannsville, where he worked as a millwright. He enjoys gardening, car cruising and feeding birds and wildlife.
Mrs. Lindner is retired from Kmart, where she worked as a salesperson. She enjoys sewing, quilting and attending classes on porcelain and basket weaving.
The Lindners belong to Hope Lutheran Church in Cranberry Township.
