Nagel

Kenneth "Ken" Nagel, 70, of Clovis, N.M., died Monday at University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

Ken was born Aug. 22, 1938, to John W. Jr. and Barbara Roseanna (Campbell) Nagel in Grove City.

He married Norma McLeod on April 30, 1960, in Niagra Falls, Ontario, Canada.

He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War and retired from Cannon Air Force Base as a senior master sergeant in 1980. After his retirement, he worked as a safety officer for ENMRSH.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Clovis, the Masonic Lodge, the VFW, the PRMC Auxiliary and Therapy Dogs International.Survivors include his wife, Norma Nagel at home; two daughters, Tammy (Philip) Shelter of Las Cruces, N.M., and Tracy (Lance) Venhaus of Tulia, Texas; four grandchildren, Nichole Griffin, Shella Shelter, Hannah Shelter and Jayden Venhaus; and three sisters, Kathy Nagel, Martha Nagel and Elsie Palone, all of Butler.He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Barbara; and a sister, Rosemary Kennedy.

<B>NAGEL</B> — The family of Kenneth "Ken" Nagel, who died Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, held visitation Thursday at the <B>Muffley Funeral Home</B>, Clovis. Services were at 11 a.m. today at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Harry Riser officiating. Burial followed at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.Pallbearers will be Lance Venhaus, Greg Venhaus, Philip Shelter, Ray Stewart, Dick Lake, Rodger Grigsby.
