12:42 a.m. Tuesday — Russell Neely, 38, of Butler faces a list of criminal charges and traffic violations after the stolen pickup truck he was driving crashed on Route 422 near the New Castle Road on-ramp. Police said Neely fled the crash site; he later was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for injuries in the crash.Neely is charged with driving under the influence, receiving stolen property, resisting arrest, false identification to law enforcement authorities, disorderly conduct and possession of a small amount of marijuana.Additionally, he is charged with accidents involving damage to unattended property, driving with a suspended license, driving too fast for conditions, careless driving and public drunkenness.8 p.m. Sunday — Jacqueline McClymonds, 46, of Prospect faces hit-and-run and other charges stemming from a crash on Route 356 between Butler Commons and Hindman Road.McClymonds is charged with accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle, failure to give information and render aid after an accident, and a lane violation.
3:15 a.m. Tuesday — Acar driven by Sarah Hlebiczki, 22, of Cabot crashed into an embankment, rolled over twice and landed on its roof on Route 422 in Summit Township. Hlebiczki was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Police said he was cited for driving too fast for conditions.12:31 a.m. Tuesday — Jared H. Walker, 26, of Natrona Heights, Allegheny County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance on Route 173 at Duffy Road in Slippery Rock Township. Police said Walker also faces charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.10:35 p.m. Monday — A vehicle driven by Jaime Blystone, 30, of Parker struck a utility pole along Route 268 in Parker Township. Blystone suffered moderate injuries.Monday — Police filed theft and other charges against Dacia Renee Walker, 19, of Prospect for allegedly stealing her mother's checkbook and forging four checks. The theft occurred earlier this fall at the victim's Main Street home in Prospect.Walker is accused of cashing the checks, totaling $909.73, at the Wal-Mart store in Cranberry Township, according to court documents. The checks were cashed between Oct. 14 and Nov. 7.Walker is charged with felony counts of receiving stolen property and forgery, as well as separate counts of theft by unlawful taking and theft by deception.Monday — Police reported that a 27-year-old Winfield Township woman was the victim of an Internet-connected scam that cost her $1,735. Police said the victim last month received an e-mail from a fraudulent company, offering to provide her training for a job with the firm if she sent money.Anyone who might have been victimized by similar scams is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.Nov. 26 — Police filed drugged driving and other charges against Jennifer Nina Perdue, 32, of Kittanning stemming from an Oct. 18 traffic stop on Route 422 in Summit Township.Adrug recognition expert aided in the investigation immediately after the traffic stop, according to court documents, and suspected Perdue was impaired by a central nervous system stimulant.Asearch of her car, police said, turned up suspected drugs and related contraband.Police took the he defendant to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood sample, which later revealed the presence of opiates and cocaine, documents said.Perdue is charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, and driving with a suspended license.
