Betty Lou Tressler

Betty Lou Tressler, 81, of Butler, passed away Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Oakland, Md., on Aug. 26, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Edna Trickett Conner.

She was a homemaker and a former member of St. Paul United Church of Christ on Walker Avenue.

She is survived by a son, Kenneth A. Tressler Jr. and his wife, Judy, of Butler; two grandsons, Daniel L. Tressler and his wife, Amber, of Butler, and Steven A. Tressler and his wife, Aimee, of Slippery Rock; five great-grandchildren, Bradley, Cody and Zachary Tressler, all of Slippery Rock, and Madison and Gavin Tressler, of Butler.

She is preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

<B>TRESSLER</B> — Friends of Betty Lou Tressler, who died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>MARTIN FUNERAL HOME</B>, 429 Center Ave. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday from the funeral home, with the Rev. Hughie Orsborn, of Christ Community United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
