Thomas J. Sheridan

Thomas John Sheridan, 81, of Beaver Falls passed away Sunday evening at the Passavant Retirement Community following an illness.

He was born March 12, 1927, in Pittsburgh and was the son of John and Josephine Gatto Sheridan.

He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran.

Mr. Sheridan retired as a carpenter from the Penn-Perry Roofing Co. of Warrendale, where he had worked for 40 years.

He belonged to the Bakerstown American Legion and the Carpenters District Council Local 230 of Pittsburgh.

Mr. Sheridan is survived by one son, Thomas R. Sheridan and his wife, Linda, of Meridian; and three daughters, Phyllis Patterson and her husband, William, and Denise Sheridan, all of Slippery Rock, and Cindy Sheridan of Beaver Falls, with whom he made his home. He also is survived by five grandchildren; one sister, Marie Lintleman of Pittsburgh; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his companion, Carol.

<B>SHERIDAN </B>— Visitation for Thomas J. Sheridan, who died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home</B>, 387 Main St., Prospect, The funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Keplinger, pastor of English Lutheran Church of Zelienople, officiating.
