Helen L. Cook, 72, of Butler passed away Oct. 16 after a long illness.

She was born on July 1, 1936, in Harrisville, W.Va., to G. Omer and Lila Berdine Morris.

She is survived by two brothers, David O. Morris of Butler and Paul C. Morris of Albuquerque, N.M. She also is survived by three children, Timothy (and Sarah) Cook of Centerville, Ohio, Pamela (and William) Smith of Cedar, Mich., and Linda (and Larry) Eaton of Christiansburg, Va.; seven grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Cook.
