The McClains in 1948

Moe and Mae McClain of Freeport celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family dinner Oct. 26 at their son's home in Cabot.

McClain married the former Mae Reith on Oct. 28, 1948, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Hannahstown.

They have two children, Moe McClain Jr. and Janice Barbiaux, both of Cabot.

They also have five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

McClain is retired from Pullman Standard and also was self-employed as a heavy equipment contractor. He is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Natrona.

Mrs. McClain is retired from cooking for the Buffalo Elementary School. She enjoys cooking, baking, sewing and gardening.

The McClains are members of St. Luke's Lutheran Church.
