Dlutowski 50th anniversary
Edmund and Ginger Dlutowski of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage in August with a cruise on the River Explorer, a river barge that traveled from Pittsburgh to Louisville, Ky.
Dlutowski married the former Ginger Mawhinney on Nov. 28, 1958, at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sharpsburg.
They have four children, Susan Dankovich of Dushanbe, Tajikistan; Edmund Dlutowski of Monongahela, David Dlutowski of Monongahela and Timothy Dlutowski of Goose Creek, S.C.
They also have eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Dlutowski is retired from working for 27 years as an electrical engineer for Armco Steel. He recently retired from working as an antiques dealer. He administers a program for junior archaeologists through the Butler County Historical Society.
Mrs. Dlutowski is retired from working for 25 years at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Butler. She is the queen of Red Bonnets and Bifocals, is the president of the National Association of Active and Retired Federal Employees and is a Make-A-Wish Foundation ambassador and volunteer.
