Virginia J. Burris, 94, of Saxonburg died Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Dec. 10, 1913, in Bruin, she was the daughter of Ray and Elizabeth Cratty Orr.

She attended high school in Bruin. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of First Church of God in Brackenridge.

Her passions were God first, making Sunday dinner for her family and flowers.

Surviving are her daughter, Betty Gibson of Clearwater, Fla.; her three sons, Larry Burris of Butler, David (Naomi) Burris of Slippery Rock and Ray A. (Ginny) Burris of Freeport; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; her best friend, Ruth; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband William J. Burris; her son, Charles P. Burris in 2002; two brothers; and two sisters.

<B>BURRIS</B> — Friends of Virginia J. Burris, who died Monday, Oct. 20, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the pastor from First Church of God, Brackenridge, officiating. Interment will follow in Alleghany Cemetery, Eau Claire.Information also is available at www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com.
