John J. Wright
John J. Wright, 63, of Butler died Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born Feb. 10, 1945, in Warren, Ohio.
He worked for the B&O Railroad, Chessie System. After his retirement, he worked part time for NexTier Armored Services.
He was a member of the Butler Moose Lodge 64, the Bantam Marine Detachment 743 and the Knights of Columbus, Butler.
He enjoyed football, cooking, NASCAR and the outdoors.
Surviving are his mother, Mary Ann Morris of Butler; his fiancée and best friend, Beverly M. Sowash of Butler; his daughter, Monica (Mike) Sly of Niles, Ohio; his granddaughter, Jennifer Cox of Mercer; his grandsons, Michael and Davey Cox, both of Mercer; Beverly's brother, Kenneth L. Black of Butler; Beverly's son, Timothy S. Irwin of Worthington; five stepdaughters; a stepson; and several step-grandchildren.
<B>WRIGHT</B> — A memorial service for John J. Wright, who died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008, will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Beverly's home, 206 Eighth Ave., Butler.
