Betty M. Davis Edwards-Ginter, 81, of Worthington died Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Jan. 24, 1927, in Cowansville, she was the daughter of James T. Davis and Mary B.J. Emminger Davis.

She attended Kittanning High School and retired from Magnetics.

She was a member of the Craigsville United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star 277 in Kittanning.

She loved her children and enjoyed camping, traveling, square dancing, music and country living.

Surviving are four children, Gloria Jean Edwards Oesterling (Ben) of Butler, Theodora R. Edwards (Karen) of Fenelton, John C. Edwards of Worthington and Mary R. Edwards Bureau of Butler; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Arnold Davis of Cowansville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold W. Edwards, who died Dec. 16, 1992; her second husband, William Frank Ginter, who died Dec. 6, 2006; a brother, Ervin Davis; and two nephews.

<B>EDWARDS-GINTER </B>— There will be a cremation, and then a memorial service for Betty M. Davis Edwards-Ginter, who died Monday, Oct. 20, 2008, will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 1 at the Worthington American Legion. Burial will be at the Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington.Memorial donations can be made to the Craigsville United Methodist Church, 313 Craigsville Road, Worthington, PA 16262.Arrangements are being handled by the<B> F.
