Stimac, Sanderson honored by KSAC

Justin Sanderson

Anthony Stimac of Karns City and Justin Sanderson of Moniteau have been named Back of the Year and Lineman of the Year, respectively, by the Keystone-Shortway Athletic Conference football coaches.

Stimac helped lead the Gremlins to the District 9 Class AAtitle, throwing for 849 yards and 17 touchdowns while rushing for 766 yards and 14 TDs.

Sanderson had 47 tackles for the Warriors, 32 solo stops, along with 10 quarterback sacks, two forced fumbles and two recovered fumbles. Moniteau won its first-ever KSAC football championship.
