Noah 50th anniversary
Robert and Barbara Noah of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with an Octoberfest party at their home.
Noah married the former Barbara Simler on Nov. 15, 1958, at an Episcopal Church in Johnstown.
They have three children, Brian Noah of Butler, Wayne Noah of Cranberry and Susan Franciose of Vail, Colo.
They also have six grandchildren.
Noah is retired from working for 43 years as an electrical engineer for Magnetics. He is active in the Lions Club and is a retired major in the U.S. Air Force Reserves, for which he was stationed in Iceland. He enjoys Penn State football and fishing in Canada, as he has for 50 years.
Mrs. Noah is a registered nurse and retired business owner. She is involved in a book club, a stitching club and makes handmade dolls for craft shows.
The Noahs enjoy traveling and spending time with their grandchildren and at their cabin near Glendale Lake.
