Sunday — An unknown vehicle struck a car parked at the Vocelli Pizza parking lot on West Cunningham Street and did not stop after the crash. The car, owned by Amber Lynn Crider of Butler, sustained extensive damage to the front bumper and grill.

6:58 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Bert E. Stanley, 69, of Summit Township struck a traffic sign and post on an ice-covered bridge deck on Route 422 in Summit Township.5:20 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Levi Paul Buck, 18, of Fairview Township and a sport utility vehicle driven by Joseph E. Penrod, 28, of Oakland Township collided on Danville Road in Oakland Township.10:29 a.m. Sunday — A car driven by Krispin Kriner, 28, of Butler struck a tree along Route 19 in Lancaster Township. The car rolled over and landed on its wheels. Police said Kriner was cited for careless driving.1 a.m. Sunday — A pickup truck driven by Patrick E. Stevenson, no age given, of Butler crashed into a tree along Sunset Drive near Minich Road. Police said Stevenson, who fled the crash site leaving the pickup behind, is charged with a lane violation and two other unspecified traffic offenses.12:45 a.m. Sunday — Randall Snyder, 22, of Fenelton was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his SUV crashed into landscaping rocks and a culvert and overturned on Chicora-Fenelton Road in Donegal Township. Snyder suffered minor injuries.Sunday — An unknown driver apparently struck a gas meter on Ekastown Road in Clinton Township. The Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Department and Dominion Gas Co. were called to shut off the gas that was leaking from the broken pipes where the meter was torn away.4:25 p.m. Saturday — Jonathan M. Hill, 25, of Hadley, Mercer County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance on Crocker Road in Slippery Rock Township.4:39 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by James Somerville, 50, of Farrell, Mercer County, slid off rain-soaked Route 422 in Muddy Creek Township and struck a guardrail. The car traveled across the road and hit another guardrail. Police said Somerville was cited for driving too fast for conditions and driving with a suspended license and without insurance.1:05 a.m. Saturday — Kyle A. Fichter, 21, of Evans City did not stop after his car struck another car on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township. Police said they later found Fichter at his home. He faces hit-and-run and careless driving charges, according to police. Stacy Hepp, 36, of Mars was driving the car that was hit in the crash.Saturday — Unknown burglars stole two new rolls of carpet valued at $1,000 in a break-in at 176 Cemetery Road in Venango Township. Police said the burglars between 5 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday broke out a window in the rear door to get inside the house.3:20 p.m. Friday — Cars driven by Jessica L. Lutz, 19, of St. Petersburg, Clarion County, and Brittany A. Thompson, 20, of Parker collided at Route 268 and Wayne Avenue in Parker, Armstrong County. Police said Lutz was cited for failure to yield.1:50 a.m. Friday — Michael McKee, 24, of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of DUI at Franklin Street and Normal Avenue in Slippery Rock.Friday — An unknown thief stole six power tools including three saws, two drills and a nail gun from a construction site at 125 Sycamore Road in Fairview Township. Doug Easley of Butler owns the property that was stolen between 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and 6:30 p.m. Friday.Friday — Someone stole a rope and four flag hooks valued at $75 from the flagpole in front of the Bruin Post Office in Bruin. The theft occurred between 5:30 p.m. Thursday and 7:30 a.m. Friday.8:47 p.m. Thursday — Asuspected counterfeit $100 bill was used to buy $7.41 worth of merchandise at the Kitchen Collection store in the Clearview Mall, Center Township. The thief left with $92.59 in change.

5:50 p.m. Friday — Acar driven by Janelle Kopay, 23, of West Mifflin, Allegheny County, and a pickup truck driven by Odis M. Hamilton, 26, of Grove City collided on Route 258 in Liberty Township.
