7:02 p.m. Wednesday — Joseph Mackalica, 32, of Butler is accused of violating a protection from abuse order by going to the Cheldon Lane home of 32-year-old Danielle Mackalica in Karns City.11:15 a.m. Wednesday — A sport utility vehicle driven by James Lavan, 30, and a car driven by Donna Hertzog, 51, both of Slippery Rock, collided at Route 8 and Shields Road in Mercer Township. Lavan faces a ticket for an unspecified traffic violation.

4:27 a.m. Wednesday — Emily Iarrapino, 20, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after her sport utility vehicle struck a pickup truck and car, both parked on Butler Road. Iarrapino also was cited for careless driving, underage drinking and driving with an expired registration.
