John Urban

John Urban, 64, of Butler died Saturday in Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Nov. 2, 1943, in Czechoslovakia, he was the son of Vincent and Mary Ann (Lukas) Urban.

He was a social member of the Lyndora American Legion and enjoyed riding motorcycles, working on his car and hunting.

Mr. Urban worked more than 30 years for Braden Weitzel Trucking as a driver and mechanic. His handle was "blue and white."

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen (Weitzel) Urban, whom he married July 11, 1964; a daughter, Klaressa McGill of Butler; a son, Todd Urban of Butler; two grandchildren, Jessica Rae and Mary Elizabeth McGill; two sisters, Mrs. David (Genive) Bridges of Las Vegas and Mrs. Wesley (Mary Ann) Jarmulowicz of Buford, S.C., and a nephew, Marc Jarmulowicz of Huntsville, Ala.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his mother-in-law, Violet E. Weitzel.

<B>URBAN — </B>Friends of John Urban, who died Oct. 11, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>YOUNG</B> <B>FUNERAL HOME,</B> Butler. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. George Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Muddy Creek Cemetery.
