Patsy P. Isacco

Patsy P. Isacco, 78, of Woodbury Drive, Boyers, passed away at 10:17 p.m. Sunday at the Grove City Medical Center after a sudden illness. Mr. Isacco had lived in Boyers his entire life.

Born May 1, 1930, in Boyers, he was the son of the late Andy Isacco and Lucy Campana Isacco.

He received his education from the Dugan School in Boyers and retired from US Steel in Saxonburg as a millwright in 1984.

He married Imogene Isacco Oct. 23, 1965. She passed away Feb. 9, 2000.

He was a member of the Epiphany Roman Catholic Church in Boyers and served as an usher.

Mr. Isacco was a veteran and served in the Army during the Korean War. He as an active member of the Moniteau Ceremonial Squad and attended more than 300 funerals of fellow veterans.

He also delivered Meals on Wheels in the Boyers area, was a former member of the Marion Township Volunteer Fire Department and the Eau Claire Volunteer Fire Department, worked for Marion Township, drove a school bus for the A-C Valley School District and was a member of the Boyers Sportsman and the Knights of Columbus in Grove City.

Mr. Isacco was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his great-granddaughter. Mr. Isacco also loved cooking and was known as Boyers "town chef."

Surviving are two children, Patricia J. Isacco of Karns City and Andrew P. Isacco and his wife, Marcella K., of Karns City; three grandchildren, Stephanie, Laura and Stephen Isacco, all of Karns City; one great-granddaughter, Elliott Isacco of Karns City; a sister, Emma Jane Anderson and husband, Bill, of Boyers; and a brother, Eugene Isacco and his wife, Jonette, of Boyers.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Angeline DeMatteis, Julia Bonetti and Anna Duronio; and three brothers, Louie, Tony and John Isacco.

<B>ISACCO </B>— The family of Patsy P. Isacco, who died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008, will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home</B>, 109 Emlenton St., Clintonville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Epiphany Roman Catholic Church, Boyers, with the Rev. James Bedillion, of the St. Alphonsus Parish of Boyers, officiating.
