5:26 p.m. Monday — Eric Dobson, 31, of Butler was arrested for allegedly violating a protection from abuse order at an Arlington Avenue home.4:37 p.m. Monday — Cars driven by Layne Swidzinski, 22, and Della O'Brien, 90, both of Butler collided on North Eberhart Road at the rear entrance to Moraine Pointe Plaza. Swidzinski suffered a minor neck injury.1:36 p.m. Monday — Alex Drogowski, 21, of Rochester, Beaver County, and Travis Keadle, 20, of Ohio were cited of soliciting without a permit after allegedly attempting to sell speakers at the Bon Aire Shopping Plaza.

5:31 p.m. Tuesday — Apickup truck driven by Robert E. Brown, 67, of West Sunbury crashed into an embankment on Route 138 in Washington Township. Police said Brown was cited for careless driving and a lane violation.12:12 p.m. Tuesday — Avan driven by Richard Rotan, 47, of New Castle struck the rear of a box truck at North Duffy and Cornell Road in Center Township. Police said Rotan was cited for following another vehicle too closely. Matthew Drissler, 31, of Mars was driving the truck.Tuesday — Adigital camera was stolen Monday or Tuesday in a burglary at Semper Concrete in Franklin Township.6:35 p.m. Monday — Acar driven by Nicholas Mikolaczyk, 20, of Lyndora crashed into an embankment on Henricks Road in Center Township. Police said Mikolaczyk was cited for driving too fast for conditions and driving without insurance.12:15 a.m. Monday — Donald J. Bookwalter, 43, of Mercer was hurt when a deer ran into his car on Interstate 79 near North Foster Road in Jackson Township. Bookwalter was treated at Grove City Medical Center for minor injuries.

1:30 p.m. Tuesday — Atractor-trailer driven by Gary L. Shaw, 59, of Clintonville struck the rear of a Mack truck on Route 422 in West Franklin Township. Police said Shaw faces a ticket for careless driving. William Neumann, 64, of Cabot was driving the Mack truck.Sunday — Terry Smith, 51, of Sarver was arrested for allegedly assaulting Amanda Mauthe, 48, of Kittanning on Quarry Road in North Buffalo Township.Smith was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and placed in the Armstrong County Jail on $2,500 bail.

10:16 a.m. Monday — Cars driven by Philip A. Smith, 26, of Meadville, Crawford County, and Pamela J. Boyd, 64, of Mercer collided on Route 258 and Spring Road in FindleyTownship. Smith's car after the crash was forced into a third car driven by Andrew A. Wilson, 20, of Mercer.Jacquelyn A. McClelland, 51, of Grove City, a passenger in Boyd's car, suffered a minor injury. Police said Smith was cited for a left-turn violation.3:18 a.m. Oct. 18 — Someone set fire to a trash container behind USISin the Pine Grove Plaza in Pine Township.
