Hays

Harold W. Hays, 74, of Detroit, Mich., died Tuesday at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Detroit.

Harold was born in Chicora, April 18, 1934, the son of Earl and Kathern (O'Donnell) Hays and was one of 11 children.

He served in the U.S. Navy for four years.

Mr. Hays was employed in the food industry as a computer operator.

Surviving are brothers, Charles E. Hays of Davison, Mich., and John R. and Johanna Hays of Lake George, Mich.; and a sister, Edna Rodgers of Butler.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and five sisters.

<B>HAYS</B> — Visitation for Harold W. Hays, who died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008, will be from 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Swartz Funeral Home</B>, 1225 W. Hill Road, Flint, Mich. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Doug Klein officiating.
