Margaret V. Ritenour

Margaret V. "Marty" Ritenour, 76, of Forestville died at 9:24 p.m. Wednesday at the Grove City Medical Center.

Born in Butler County, Sept. 20, 1932, she was the daughter of Christian George and Amy (Young) George.

She retired in 1991 from Reznor of Mercer, where she worked on an assembly line.

Mrs. Ritenour was a member of the Forestville United Methodist Church.

She was a very active reader, involved with her grandchildren and an active member of the Slippery Rock Senior Center.

Her husband, E. Joseph Ritenour, whom she married July 23, 1949, died April 14, 1979.

Surviving are a daughter, Crystal K. Arblaster and her husband, Mark D., of Slippery Rock; a son, Gary E. Ritenour of Forestville; four grandchildren, Kirby Ritenour and his wife, Jessica, of Slippery Rock, Adam Ritenour of Slippery Rock, Mark Arblaster Jr. and his wife, Sara, of Mercer and Amy Carter and her husband, Chuck, of Slippery Rock; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

<B>RITENOUR </B>— There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A memorial service for Margaret V. "Marty" Ritenour, who died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Forestville United Methodist Church with the Rev. David D. Ealy officiating.Memorial contributions may be made to the Forestville United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 102, Forestville, PA 16035.Arrangements are being handled by the <B>Jamison Funeral Home</B>, Harrisville.
