Diane M. Smith-Klingensmith

Diane M. Smith-Klingensmith, 63, of Cowansville, formerly of Butler, died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman, Ohio.

She was born April 1, 1945, in New Castle, the daughter of the late Warren Smith and the late Minnie (Mars) Smith.

Diane enjoyed gardening, flowers, sewing, camping, canoeing, boating, hunting for arrowheads and going to yard sales.

She retired as a supervisor with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, where she worked for the Butler and Kittanning offices.

Surviving are her husband, Charles R. Klingensmith, who she married in 1999, of Cowansville; two daughters, Grace Burkinshaw of Webb Lake, Wis., and Tina Wagner of Slippery Rock; two stepsons, Trevor Klingensmith of Rural Valley and Reese Klingensmith of Worthington; a grandson; two granddaughters; two stepgrandsons; two step-granddaughters; and a nephew, John Smith of New Castle.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

<B>SMITH-KLINGENSMITH </B>— Friends of Diane M. Smith-Klingensmith, who died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W.
