4:10 p.m. Tuesday — Albert Johnson, III, 45, of Lyndora was charged with driving under the influence, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, accident involving attended vehicle and several summary traffic offenses after he allegedly rear-ended a vehicle along Whitestown Road and fled the scene. He was later arrested at his residence. Neither driver was injured in the accident.
11:40 p.m. Thursday — A pickup truck driven by Jared Dale Neal, 21, of Evans City crashed into several trees and overturned along Evergreen Milll Road. Neal was taken by helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh, where he was in critical condition Friday morning.
8 a.m. Monday — Someone forced open the door of Butler Siding and Window Outlet on New Castle Road in Franklin Township, stealing about $175 from a desk drawer inside between noon Saturday and 8 a.m. Monday. Anyone with information should call 724-284-8100.7:52 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Lynda M. Fondak, 31, of Sharon and a pickup truck driven by Harley C. Blake Jr., 41, of West Middlesex collided on Route 422 near Old Route 422 in Franklin Township. Both drivers and Blake's passengers, John A. Nast, 32, of Mercer, John B. Byler, 34, of New Wilmington and Samuel A. Nast, 25, of Mercer were wearing seat belts and were not injured. Fondak was cited for driving at unsafe speed.
Oct. 24 — Someone stole a handgun belonging to Barbara F. Malloy of Emlenton from a residence along Bailey Road in Clinton Township between Aug. 1 and Oct. 24.
10:13 a.m. Tuesday — An SUVdriven by Shawn R. Evans, 18, of Emlenton crashed into a guard rail and a utility pole along Route 38 in Richland Township. Evans was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.
