Mildred Lucille Morris
Mildred Lucille Mullins Morris, 81, of 349 Bedford Road, West Middlesex, Shenango Township, Mercer County, died at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at John XXIII Home of Hermitage.
Born Oct. 5, 1926, in Widen, W.Va., she was the daughter of Russell Mullins and Sarah Ann Taylor.
She and her husband were co-owners of Pat F. Morris and Son Trucking of Portersville.
She was a graduate of the Glenville State Teachers College and formerly taught in Clay, W.Va.
Mrs. Morris enjoyed crocheting and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Butler. She was a Methodist in faith.
Surviving are her husband, Pat F. Morris, who she married Aug. 20, 1948; a daughter, Sandra Wilson of Pulaski; a son, Pat F. Morris Jr. of Prospect; a sister, Dorothy Ann Neal of Summersville, W.Va.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sally Ann Dobbins; two infant sisters, Mary Ellen and Elizabeth Mullins; and three brothers, Ed, Russell Jr. and Tom Mullins.
<B>MORRIS </B>— Friends of Mildred Lucille Mullins Morris, who died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, will be received from 3 to 6 p. m. Tuesday at the <B>Smith Funeral Home</B>, 3126 Main St., West Middlesex. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, New Bedford.
