Dorothy G. Jack
Dorothy G. Jack, 88, died at 9 p.m. Friday in the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Sept. 26, 1920, in Butler, she was the daughter of Edwin L. Gardner and Erma Murtland Gardner.
Mrs. Jack worked for United Telephone Co. in Butler with 40 years of service.
She was a member of the Hill United Presbyterian Church, and she was very active in her church. She also was a member of the Independent Telephone Pioneer Association and the Butler Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
Mrs. Jack is survived by two sons, Ronald L. Jack and his wife, Beverly, of Butler and Robert T. Jack and his wife, Lynne, of Irwin. Mrs. Jack also is survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandsons.
Mrs. Jack was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Earl Jack Jr., who passed away Aug. 24, 1972; and two sisters.

North St. Visitation also will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Hill United Presbyterian Church, where services will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev.
