May 20 — Jennifer F. Houston, 35, of Portersville was charged with access device fraud and theft by unlawful taking after an audit revealed she had allegedly stolen $3,551 in goods and services from her employer, Kerr Auto Body on Hyspy Drive in Portersville, while employed there between June 14, 2007, and May 20, 2008.

6:20 p.m. Thursday — A black male, about 35 to 45 years old, weighing about 250 pounds and walking with a crutch and a crippled right arm, stole $20 from Eat 'n Park in Springfield Township by confusing the cashier, paying for a $2 food item with a $50 bill then making repeated cash exchanges for different denominations.

Thursday — An SUV driven by Lindsay Nicole Densmore, 24, of Cranberry Township and a tractor-trailer driven by Jon Marsha Klingensmith, 35, of Evans City collided at the intersection of East Diamond Street and South Main Street. No one was injured. Densmore was cited for careless driving.11 a.m. Oct. 3 — A vehicle driven by Elizabeth Marie Medina, 54, of Butler struck a parked vehicle belonging to April Moore of Butler along South Street. Medina then fled the scene.
