Let's be real. It appears you are generalizing Christians as the Religious Right - pretty inflammatory. Christians are far from walking around in life with horse blinders on.

Christianity and Islam religions are not the same so stop trying to unite them. Let me help you understand something. Jesus was not just another prophet as the Islam religion dictates. He came to earth to die for the sins of the human race. We don't have a body of Jesus because He is the Son of God and man, has power over death - and so resurrected. His "shed" blood was needed so that there is no need to sacrifice another animal for blood repentence and acceptance. We'd all be raising alot of sheep if that was still the case. (I'd be raising a grand flock all by myself.) All of the OT's prophesies were fulfilled when He died. When Jesus ascended, He sent His Holy Spirit to be with and in the Christian...down to the inner heart. The heart is now the tabernacle of worship. How much closer can one get to knowing God? I think I am pretty much on track about this.

BTW...Sex education has been around for a very long time. It hasn't changed anything. One can buy "needed items" virtually anywhere to avoid unwanted pregnancies,VDs, etc. However, if I am not mistaken, teen pregnancy and VD is still around. AIDS is a major issue...true? Oh, we're educated alright! Abstinence isn't popular - that's for certain! Works though. One can sit down with our children, tell them all about what is out there to prevent problems, and hope for the best. Give the parent the tools to prepare kids (from the home) for the joy and also the responsibilities of having sex. I told my kids a little at a time before they heard it from somewhere else. A friend of mine has a daughter, 16 yrs old, on birth control. My goodness.
